Gian-Carla Tisera is an Opera World Fusion artist based in NYC/Bolivia known for her powerful vocalism, theatrical prowess and musical fusion projects. Richard Padrón is an accomplished NYC-based composer and guitarist known for his versatility and virtuosity. For this special collaboration they join musical cultures and artistic expressions to create an amalgam of stories, rhythms and stunning sound dimensions.

SOUNDS OF QUIROGA: A SALSA, BACHATA, MERENGUE PROJECT 

Gian-Carla and Arturo Peña are joined by an 18 piece Tropical Orchestra for the CD Release Dance Party of their new album - A new Latin sound of original, groundbreaking Salsa, Merengue and Bachata dance music, Sounds of Quiroga is the daring vision of rhythm and song infused with passionate harmonies, contagious melodies and the addictive synergy of afro-Latin rhythms with the Big Band sound reminiscent of classic tropical orchestras. For their first album as ‘Sounds of Quiroga’, Gian-Carla Tisera (Bolivia) and Arturo Peña (Dominican Republic) bring together the talents of 26 Latin-American musicians and singers based in New York City, Dominican Republic and Bolivia. They met in the city’s music scene, Gian-Carla as a singer/composer and Arturo as a drummer/producer. Their album - Sounds of Quiroga: A Salsa, Merengue, Bachata Project - will be available for purchase online on June 16.
